Soil Science Australia (WA Branch) hosts the 2017 Boodja Soil Science Lecture.
Boodja is a Noongar word for “land” and the lecture series acknowledges the important role of Aboriginal understanding in the responsible management of our soil and land.
This year the WA branch is honoured to receive the lecture from Professor Stephen Smith, Professor of Bioresource Systems and Head of Environmental and Water Resource Engineering at Imperial College London.
Peter has 25 years research experience investigating the treatment and agronomic properties of sludge and organic wastes recycled to land.
When: 24 August 4.30 – 6.30 pm
Where: Pre-lecture refreshments and networking at the Murdoch Tavern followed by the lecture in the Beazley Lecture Theatre
